Morning Run

So when you break your leg it takes an insanely long time to get back into the routines you once had, as well as build up the stamina that was previously so prevalent. I went running today and it was like pure torture. It was like I was going to die after running a single block. However, I was able to make it. I was able to put 5 miles behind me. After I got home I did a little bit of yoga which is nice.

Now I am sitting here. Tired. I might need a nap. it is only 11:30 in the morning. Oui. I cannot wait until this get easier and I have a bit of stamina back.

I would like to share my new workout plan. I have stuck to it successfully for three weeks.
1. Close all blinds.
2. Find heaviest canned goods in kitchen. (chili)
3. Turn on ITunes.
4. Dance around my living room until too tired to continue (approximately 45 minutes). Intersperse dancing with stretches, situps on an exercise ball, and general moves that make me feel like I am doing aerobics but probably aren't actual moves. Also, fake made up Michelle yoga works well.
5. Open blinds and pretend like nothing happened.

I have lost weight and all my clothes fit better. Most importantly, I feel better and like I have more control over my out of control life. Bonus: I also constantly have peppy pop tunes in my head.
